oh, in that case, you can also use hyperterminal and tell it to use winsock
instead of a com port then tell the domain name that was posted in that
other message and the standard telnet port (23 IIRC)... it should default
to that port anyway... that'll at least get you there and let you get the
desired files... they will download into the current directory which
because the GUI hides so much will likely be the hyperterm directory...
you'll know the filenames of the files you download so you'll be able to
use the "find files" off the start menu to locate them in case
you don't already know where hyperterminal is located or where it'll
download those files to... i've found that if i make a link on the desktop
to a system with hyperlink that the desktop will be the current directory..
hyperterminal leaves a lot to be desired but it does to the job...
