There's a free version ("Personal") of Delphi available on the
extras-CD of some computer magazines every now and then, which is neat for
having a look. It's limited in license (no commercial software) and usually
lacks database connectivity, which both sucks & blows, but there are
some free 3rd party components that you can use with it.
