Hi Barry,
BLJ> What will you predict for the 1998 season? I'll predict the
llowing...
BLJ> NL EAST : (going out on a limb) METS, BRAVES, MARLINS, EXPOS, PHILLIES
I still think the Braves will finish ahead of the Mets, and, if the Phiilies
play like they did for the last part of the season, they could move up, I see
the East looking like this:
Braves, Mets, Marlins, Phillies, Expos
BLJ> NL CENTRAL : Astros, Cardinals, Cubs, Brewers, Reds, Pirates
The Astros shouldn't have any problems winning this division, but, you placed
the Cubs way to high, they'll more than likely finish in dead last.
BLJ> NL WEST : Giants, Dodgers, Rockies, Padres, Diamondbacks
I beleive this division will be close, the Rockies made some good pickups in
the off-season including Lansing, they may finish second this year with a
shot
at the WC.
