What does Obama have to do with the NJ and Virginia races?

Was he actively campaigning there?
Looking back at a couple commentaries on these races, and one other, I
noticed Obama did support the two democratic governor candidates. BFD.

It's not like he went all out, mobilizing everyone including talk radio to
elect someone, like what conservatives did in NY-23.

They drove off a republican, pushing all out for an idiot from the
Conservative Party who didn't live in that district and didn't know squat
about the issues in that district.

In other words, they demanded a candidate conservative enough to LOSE.
