    PATTI is just unpredictable ...... I watch her 'body language' at all 
time .... and NEVER take for granted what she might do (or not do).
    She's also an extremely intellegent animal - she learns things very fast 
(didn't take anytime at all to teach her to "bow pretty" and to "shake".  She 
gets "conditioned" fast but is "afraid" of something (or anyone) new.
    With PATTI you do all the right things (halters, lead rope - lunge first 
before riding - going very slowly with her and showing her everything you are 
going to do.)  NEVER
takine any short cuts with her that I feel comfortable doing with X, Sham or 
Tuffy.
