-> BM> Gotta question. I was at the vet last month, and while I -> BM> was waiting, a couple came in with two pit bulls. I may -> BM> not have seen this breed of dog in the flesh before; I -> BM> can't remember. These dogs, though, were very notable in -> BM> appearance: They both looked as to ordinary dogs the way -> BM> Mr. America compares with ordinary guys. Is the average -> BM> pit bull that muscular in appearance, or was I looking at -> BM> dogs that had had weight/strength training? These dogs -> BM> were smaller than mine, but their overmuscled appearance -> BM> and straining at the leash alarmed me. -> >> I ain't exactly a featherweight either. -> In Toledo it's illegal to have more than one. Yes, they are that -> big and muscular, by nature. They are bred for fighting in a -> pit. Mine's 16 and still muscled rock solid. -> And they are considered a dangerous animal. I had to call animal control and get a cage to trap the CAT that kept tearing up my pit bull as he just stood there. One does have to maintain "pack leader" status with the animal to safely own a Put Bull. I've walked Spanky off lead for 14 years. Most people don't have the brains to safely own the breed IMO. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: FidoTel & QWK on the Web! www.fidotel.com (1:275/311) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 275/311 106/1 2000 633/267 |
