MARK FORNOFF scribed to JUSTIN BAUSTERT -

As a sort of postscript to my last message on this subject, as I type
this, I'm listening to a conversation between Bob Enyart and a lady
from New Orleans who has quit the legal profession - she was an
attorney and once ran for a judgeship. She called in response to yet
another law student who had called into a previous show, her intent
being to set the poor soul straight about the truth of his chosen path.
In her words, it is *impossible* to practice law and not be corrupted,
regardless how mightily one might try. She says it's truly a shame,
but the state of the profession is that it is totally corrupt, immoral,
and unethical, and corruption is unavoidable if one chooses to remain
in it - the reason she left it.
