It's free and a cool tool for you digital guys. All of us screw up
things at times.  Maybe you have PhotoShop and use the levels to pull
something out of the shadows where your finger got in front of the
flash.  Maybe you use my excellent action to bring the contrast of a
picture shot in absurd kighting conditions back into range.  In both
cases you often end up with what could be called a thin negative, it's
printable, but barely. It probably has so much noise, you screw around
forever with blur and other filters.  Getting the color balance and
saturation back requires that you almost use the original as a template
and re-draw in the details, all time consuming and a pain in the rear.

Download and install this small program. You don't need PhotoShop or
anything else because it is a stand alone.  Don't use it on your good
stuff, but try it out on something like described above. Something you
would be embarred for others to see. It comes in two version of course,
one you buy and a limited freebie.  Get the freebie,  It has a very
simple to use interface. You load your picture on one side and it shows
you what it has done on the other.  You have just a few setting to make
and it fixes up what takes me 20 minutes or more to do in PhotoShop in a
matter of a minute or less.  Like I said, don't feed your good shots to
it but those ones you were going to scrap anyway,  You have nothing to
loose and plenty to gain, go for it.
