Another possible idea...
You *may* have an Inturrupt issue. NT has NO idea how to deal with them as
2000/Me-NT does (same same as XP, Server 03, etc)
You may want to hardwire your adaptor cards (Nic, Vid, etc) with their OWN
inturrupts via BIOS and then report what you've done to NT.
It's MUCH better to put Workstation 2K or better on it; it's
driver/inturrupt aware and will dynamically allocate what it needs and
re-steer as well.
You may discover all your ills go away.
PS: Tell the BIOS what OS type you're using (Aware like XP/2K, not aware like NT).
