I am very proud of her.  She is quite a kid.  Did I tell you that she started
RIT's (Rochester Inst of Tech) Equestrian Club & Intercolligiate Team?  They
didn't have one and she wanted to compete in the League.  So she organised a
meeting and got about 15 other kids to join with her.  They did real well 
his
year in the comititions too.  They travel to other schools all over the state
for the compititions.  They don't take horses with them.  The host school
provides all of the horses.  You draw a horse when you arrive and jump on and
ride your class with never having ridden this horse before.  They do it the
same way for the jumping classes.  They don't get any time to check out the
horse at all.  It makes for some real interesting classes!  ;-)
She came up 1 point short of qualifying for the regionals this year.  The 
eam
came in about the middle of the pack.  Not bad for the first year I would
