If this story is accurate, it means America is very close
to having a coup d'etat.  The last time such an event almost
occurred was in 1865, when Abraham Lincoln was assassinated.
Not only was Lincoln assassinated, but the Secretary of State
was also mortally wounded.  The only thing that prevented
the coup from succeeding was that Andrew Johnson was not at
the location he was supposed to be, thus foiling the plot.

With the House of Bush crumbling, Bush has to find a way to get past
the election this coming November.  Folks are upset at the high cost
of gasoline, the ever-increasing cost of groceries and other items,
lack of job security, etc.  And folks are also upset that so many of
our soldiers are dying in the killing fields of Iraq.  Also, folks
are peeved that Osama bin Laden and those responsible for the events
of 9-11 remain free and at large.

The only way left for Bush to win the election is by causing a
diversion.  IOW, an "October Surprise".
