Well, of the lot, Teresa, the Dane is quite a lot the worse spoiled.
The big African Grey, I was told, belongs to the ex mayor of our city so
he may be spoiled too, but not likely as much as my Dane. (Who is
presently stretched out across the foot of my bed causing me to have to
scruntch up to type.)
As for other pets we've got a houseful of cats, another dog, (Mutt) and
a Cookyroo Dove (White Ringneck) which is all the birds I'm allowed to
have right now.  We've had in the past several Amazon parrots, and as
many as 25 Danes at a time when we had two litters at once. (Max of
seven adult Danes at once.)
Our parrots have been Lilac Crowned/Finsch's Amazon, and Yellow Cheeked
Amazon. The Lilac Crowns are super sweet parrots, and the Yellow Cheek
was super LOUD!  Our neighbors 1/8 mile away had a Yellow naped and it
and our Yellow Cheek would get to screaming back and forth at each other
fit to deafen a blind man!
-> pets?  The only pets we have right now are 7 pet rats...:)  They are
-> real sweet
We also used to have several snakes. (My field supervisor was herp-nut.)
So we had some rats too!
Glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.........
-> am learning quite a bit, or rather enough to know what to look for
-> when I go to the library to look something up...:)
Be sure to look up Yellow Cheeked and Lilac Crowned Amazons next time
you go.  If you can find a really GOOD color picture of a Lilac Crowned
you'll be amazed at the variety of colors on his head and neck.  The
Yellow Cheek is just GAUDY!
