Bob Klahn ---> MALTE SCHMIDT AM 24.02.06 BETREFF: *Being Human* [ST4:"The Voyage home"] BK>>> Heck... that was the only Star Trek movie that was any good at BK>>> all. MS>> Well, it was the less Star-Trek-ish movie and easiest to MS>> understand for those, who are not that familiar with the MS>> characters. That is why it is so popular amongst MS>> none-Star-Trek-fans. BK> And because it wasn't a repetition of what they did before. Well, the others haven't really been a repetition... not for a Star Trek film. Not more a repetition than in any other film series. In my opinion Star Trek is even rather diverse. ST4 is just a very good example that Star Trek can even do such a comedy show without a problem. The mentioned ST6: "The undiscovered country" is a political thriller and detective story, ST2:"The Wrath Of Khan" a story about the aging main character and a battle between archenemies. ST8:"First contact" a typical time travel action film, ST9:"insurrection" light comedy with ethical aspects.... In which film series can you find such a diversity?
