An article in today's Houston Chronicle mentioned that due to the
increased interference (from cell phones, pagers, cordless
phones, etc.), the large radio telescopes are no longer able to
receive the faint signals for which they were designed.
Possible alternatives would be to locate such telescopes on the
moon...
