JP> heloo out there in modem land , I'm new to this bbs and want to ask if
JP> anybody knows how to stop the green algea from growing crazy in my fresh
JP> water tank, I clean the tank about every two weeks and after the first
JP> week it's starting to grow again. thanks in advance.
I've had my tank for years now and Algea has'nt been a problem for me,
the only time I've ever seen it to be real problem is if the tank is
in conntact with bright sunlight for long periods of time, if this is
so in your case I would suggest that you move it into a shaded area.
If this is a problem then there are chemicals you can get, but as to
wether they work or not I don't know as I've never needed them.
Bye for now
The Mad Pole
Regards STE
