Well, Gosh, I bet you if the Firebird had only slowed down, those
police cars would have slowed down also!
Insofar as the Firebird slowing down if the Police had slowed
down, let's take a reality trip, shall we?  If the Firebird
was trying to evade the Police, do you really think that if the
Police slowed down, that the Firebird would have slowed down
to make it easier to be caught?
