Some American senators are like school children, doing what most
children have done at one time in their lives.

One of the most pleasurable experiences an American child has is
throwing spitballs at his/her classmates.  It is a great thrill when
a child hits his/her intended target, even if the child gets caught
in the act and is sent to the principal's office.

Of course, the goal is to get the target to return the favor,
without getting caught having thrown the first spitball.  Doesn't
always turn out that way, but what glorious fun it is to try!
