An interesting story all right. Sounds similar to something that
happened to a dive buddy of mine, although he didn't enter any confined
or overhead areas. Apparently a security gate in a seafence around a
navy base was left open and he just swam on through into secured water.
He and the fellow he was diving with were swimming along when they were
surrounded by military divers and ordered to surface where they were
questioned extensively before being released. When they asked him why
he was diving in that spot to begin with he told them he was picking up
coffee cups that the sailors were throwing overboard while their ships
stood by to be allowed entry into the base. Government waste seems to
take some unusual forms.
On a side note you posted that you have a copy of a divemaster
program for windows available for file request. Have you reviewed this
program and what do you think of it? At the moment I'm checking around
to see what's around and available.
     Be wet and well.
