-> Okay, thanks. There aren't many games left I can play on my old 486.
Better
-> upgrade soon, eh? :) One of my alltime favorite games was Blake Stone.

-> could play it on my old 386 and had great sound effects for its time. I
-> recently called Apogee to see if I could get the full version for a
-> discounted price since it is an "old" game but I was told it was $29.95.
:(
People still buy enough games at the old prices, there's no point in dropping
the price. :) Actually, $29.95 *IS* a discount form the original price of
$60.
As for updating, yes. Our next "new" game is Balls of Steel, and the minimum
reqs for that are a Pentium 100 (preferably 133) with Windows95 and a DirectX
Compatible Sound card, and Vesa compatible video.
Prey will REQUIRE some sort of video hardware accelerator card when it comes
out. If you go for something new *NOW*, I wouldn't go for any less than a
133Mhz.
