If he were computer savvy, that could/would be an issue. We'll live with
it as it is for now, and see how it works out. We can double check his
online gaming access by going to the website that logs all his online time
and games played to determine his ranking, and see if he's snuck around the
issue.
I've set it pretty tight, in that I've got blocked all the IP's in the DHCP
range that the router assigns for all protocols and all ports for the time
frame we want him offline, as well as the computer, so no "online
gaming sites" as well.

If you rely on a logon script than any change it makes his son could
change back to allow himself access.

This is a WAG, but maybe you could create a logon script that reads
the USERNAME environment variable and then uses the 'netsh' command to
set IP config info appropriately?
Hmmm...I'm not sure that 'netsh' works non-interactively. Maybe a 3rd
party utility to set IP config info could be launched by the logon
script?
