MM :>Well I haven't had time to brag for awhile so I thought I
MM :>would now.
It HAS been a while...so, you're entitled!
MM :>horses there. This
MM :>year we had 18-20 horses show up. We had some entries from
MM :>Ontario Canada,
MM :>Vermont, NH, Mass, & Maine as well as NY. We really had a
MM :>good time with all
MM :>of these people. They are all friends just getting
MM :>together to have some fun.
What fun! And glad the Fjords were so well represented! Who were the Mass
folk?
MM :>Malla & Niki took 1st in Western Pleasure (first year we
MM :>had a western class).
MM :>They took 2nd in English Pleasure (should have been first,
MM :>the one that did get
MM :>first walked all the way down one side of the ring when she
MM :>was supposed to be
MM :>cantering. The judge never saw it though). They also took
MM :>2nd in the "Fjord
MM :>crossrail" class. Not too many people jump their fjords so
MM :>they don't have a
MM :>real jumping class.
Oh, yes! The old "but the judge didn't see it" routine...don't you just hate
that!! Sounds like Niki hasn't missed a beat, or Malla either.
MM :>Some other news on Niki too. She just started working at
MM :>Kodak this last
MM :>monday. It is a coop position for her college course in
MM :>Environmental
MM :>Management. She only has 1 more quarter of classes left
MM :>now. If she can do
MM :>all of her remaining coops at Kodak she will be all set to
MM :>graduate a year from
MM :>now.
Can it be?! Sounds like she's well on her way to being as successful in real
life as she has always been. Congrats, Mike. You've got a good one there!
Glad to hear that things are going so well for the Mays and Ms. Malla.
Meg
