George, there is a workaround for those loooong lines.  Get a copy of
EPM ver 6 - available from hobbes, I think, but from the IBM sites for
sure.  It has a shell mode which captures all the screen output with
lines as long as 1536 characters.  I use it all the time to record
command line sessions for later reference and to keep long listing from
running away.  Your problem is not the clipboard, it's the screen
format since I've been able to successfully copy 1500+ chaaracter lines
from EPM.
