You can try, I've never found them to be interested in anything but
seed.  Good seed mixes are ok, I think they are fortified.

That I can't tell you, the place I get seed from sells in bulk, and I
don't know what brand it is.

An order of veggie fried rice from a Chinese place is good place to
start, see what of the mix they will eat. For small birds like that, you
will need to cut it up further.
