It's convenient that you deny knowledge of the situation in Africa and
the rest of the world when you berate our own country and blame so many
social ills on racism (by whites). There is racism all over the world, and
I would suggest that things have changed a lot in the US over the last 40
years. I would disagree that colonialism brought only bad things to the
places where it happened. It depended a lot on the people doing the
colonizing.
Colonialism has been around for many years. In many cases, it brought law
and order and an infrastructure where there had been only chaos and
bedlam. A look around the world should show you that most of the successful
nations were colonies not too long ago. the British Commonwealth and some of
its former colonies are evidence of this.
FWIW... some studies done in Canada compared the average incomes of people
of different backgrounds. It may come as a surprise to you that white males
were not at the top of the list. Several other groups came ahead of them.
I would have to ask how that is possible in a society that is supposed to
be run by white males who are all, in your eyes, inherently racist.
Rather than blame white males for the crime and violence in black ghettos,
perhaps you might consider that crime and violence keep them poor and in
the ghettos. I think that most people here will agree that the inner city
ghettos are among the most unsafe neighborhoods in the country. Would you
be willing to invest in a business in a neighborhoods where you are more
likely to be robbed, or worse?
