Big deal. Put a line inside the loop that says:

IF LEN(INKEY$) THEN EXIT DO

Or, alternatively, put an OR in the UNTIL line, with the same
additional condition.

SARS is seriously dangerous only to people whose health is already
precarious. I haven't let it interfere with my life at all. A much
bigger threat is West Nile Virus, which sometimes kills or cripples
people who are reasonably young and healthy. This year's mosquitoes are
now appearing. I'm trying to avoid them.

And then there's Monkeypox, which may well be the answer to the threat
of terrorists using smallpox. When I was a kid, we were all
deliberately infected with a mild disease called cowpox, which was
closely related to smallpox and produced cross-immunity. Monkeypox may
well have the same effect.
