I have given you multiple examples of .Net being used as a brand.
Sometimes .Net is the antecedant e.g.
.Net Passport
Sometimes as the qualifier e.g.
VB.Net
ASP.Net
I have stated that both MS (with .Net) & Sun (with Java) use the
relvant terms as generic brands.
What precisely do you find so hard to comprehend? The whole concept f
branding or the conflict between the reality of MS branding .Net vs the
marketing approved set of guff wrt .Net being all about ECMA & ISO
which you feel the need to parrot?
