I need any and all advice I can get on Bettas.  We've raised everything from 
Albino Barbs to Zebra Cichlids, except for Bettas.  Now my 8 year old bought 
one with his birthday money.  We've got it in a 2 1/2 gallon hex tank.  The 
fish store folks said throw it in and leave it at room temperature, and 
that's about all there is to Bettas.  Are they really that easy??
