Good story! I can imagine what excuses the shooter was trying to come up
with to tell his editor. Like we say, it happens to everyone -- oops! I'll
bet it never happened to you Larry! :) Never ever!
It happened to me about a year ago, shooting a children's pet festival.
There were probably, oh, 36 outstanding, award winning pictures on that
(virtual) roll of film! By gum!

Reminded of the famous story of Alfred Eisenstadt, so nervous about
shooting Albert Einstein and Robert Oppenheimer together,that he forgot to
load his camera. After clicking off several frames, he noticed his rewind
knob was not turning, so after mumbling some excuse about having to fix
his camera, Eisenstadt went out into the hallway,loaded his camera and
returned. He discovered that these two great personalities were so
engrossed in conversation that they hadn't even noticed he was missing. The
resulting photo can be seen in many Life Magazine retrospective publications.
