No, past generations were not irresponsible for not feeding pellets
because they were not around at the time. They worked with what they
had.
There are also many old people alive today who don't take care of
themselves, that doen't mean its right. Maybe they are just lucky. Do
as you wish but you are not doing other people and their birds any
favors by not acknowleding that pellets can be a useful item in most
birds diets. Don't be so paranoid. The pellet dealers aren't after
you. Use the tools at your disposal. The science does not lie. Your
mind is very closed, I wonder what else
that has been discovered recently that you are refusing to acknowledge.
Its a good thing you don't care for people. You might treat them like
it was the 1800's and refuse to give them insulin or antibiotics.
