Your statement of principle is correct, but your example was not. Here's
an example of how it should (in standard business practice here in the USA)
work:
/* original message as entered */
To: Frank Adam
From: Jerry Schwartz
===== message body =====
cc: Harry Openly, Mary Known
bc: William Secret
...
/* first copy actually sent */
To: Frank Adam
From: Jerry Schwartz
===== message body =====
Copy to Harry Openly, Mary Known
...
/* second copy actually sent */
To: Harry Openly
From: Jerry Schwartz
===== message body =====
Original to Frank Adam
Copy to Mary Known
...
/* third copy actually sent */
To: Mary Known
From: Jerry Schwartz
===== message body =====
Original to Frank Adam
Copy to Harry Openly
...
/* fourth copy actually sent */
To: William Secret
From: Jerry Schwartz
===== message body =====
Original to Frank Adam
Copy to Harry Openly, Mary Known
...
Does that help?
