ED> Remember Garak's bemused reaction to the Bond-type fantasy in ED> "Our Man Bashir": "I think I joined the wrong service." Thanks for reminding me! I think it was one of the first instances when he was less than coy about his former role. After a while he seemed to change toward an attitude of "oh, heck, the cat's out of the bag, so why deny it?" I was somewhat disappointed that Garak's role wasn't explored more in the Occupation Arc. To me, he seemed in a position to become a turncoat or at least be tempted to betray his Starfleet pals in order to reinstance himself as a good Cardassian. ___ * OFFLINE 1.58 --- Silver Xpress Mail System 5.03M1 ---------------* Origin: * The Ratz Nest BBS * Texas * (817) 447-1619 * (1:130/911) * Origin: Salata (1:102/125) |
