CL> Well I am not an "Expert" but I have heard what I think is Italian
CL> and/or French Military Packet network, many times near the frequency
CL> 6679 kHz My location is Stockholm/Sweden and I have picked them up
CL> very easy with a small komparator interface and a program called
CL> PKTMON12. The deviation was 100. I have also heard what I think was
CL> Packet but might have been encrypted on 6928 (800-dev.) and on 4650
CL> (100-dev.) Thats all I have, hope you find it usefull.

Howdy Christher,
Thanks for the info. I am familiar with PKTMON it works just great for
Packet monitoring!!! This is an interesting catch and I am a bit
surprised they are using Packet instead of Pactor or Cover. Packet has
a wider bandwith then Pactor or Clover. Anyway if you are able to log
them again please let me know.
73's de Reid,
BTW: If you have internet access you might want to join us utility
monitors on a brand new network called WUN? If so send me e-mail at
and I will forward the info to get you connected etc. My Internet
E-mail address is z600783a@bcfreenet.seflin.lib.fl.us
73's de Reid,
... This tagline is made just for Christher Lehtonen
