-=***> Kenneth Abrams on the GREAT NEW VINYLS! <***=-
KA> I've never heard any of them. Of course, I was introduced to the
KA> Groundhogs through promos during my time working a radio station in
KA> the mid-70's, and I left that job when I joined the Navy in 76 (which
KA> is the same year the first two above were released, apparently).
You got to acquire CROSSCUT SAW, which is, in my book, a fantastic
power rock/blues album, and is as progressive as rock'n'roll can
ever get. Toni's style, is centered around noise effects, and there
are, and were, very few that could do them as well.... the only other
guitarist I can remember that did it as well was John Weinzeirl of
Amon Duul II. Crosscut Saw is excellent all the way through and
has the line up that was the strongest for the Groundhogs. A must
have for prog'ers.
... eisenstein___film is what I do. Others take pictures...
