subject: Proper Packaging

When sending delicate computer parts by mail (esp. COD - Cash On Delivery -
ask your local postal staff for details), please take care to properly
package the items. This is not only commonsense, but a pre-requisite to
making any claim on Australia Post for damage in-transit whether or not
they were insured.

For example, I recently received a CPU which was simply packed in a piece
of bubble wrap inside a bubble wrap envelope. Result: the pins along one
side of the CPU were bent almost flat.
