Fran wasn't it you who was telling my I ought to get some chicken feed
for my Kookyroo dove?  I did, and now I have cracked corn ALL over my
bathroom!  He HATES those corn bits!  Flings 'em everywhere!  Isn't
there something ELSE he can eat to get some variety?
My daddy used to feed his something like "Horse and Mule Feed" that they
thrived upon.  My dove is showing an inordinate interest in his own
feces, which in parrots at least indicates a lack of some nutrient. (I
was always told.)  What sort of chicken feed was it you suggested as an
alternate source?  Something powdery as I remember it?

Kathy, sorry, but a Ringneck dove is all the parrot I can afford.....
