I've taken on a habit of emailing such sites with a polite "I notice
that you have gone to great lengths to make my visits to your site as
painful as possible by the use of popups, and with very clever technigues
to prevent my popup-blocker from working. Well congratulations, the site is
finally too annoying to read, so you now have one less user visiting your
site. Goodbye.".

I don't really think it'll work, but I do it just in case someone honestly
hasn't thought about how damn annoying all those ads are.
