Yes, exactly. The thumbnail is created by the original creator of the jpg,
and is not "updated" by Irfanview. I tried to google for an
editor that would allow refreshing/fiddling with the thumbnail, but I'm
miserable at anything image-processing related so I can't even get the damn
search words right - found nothing. Or maybe it's not so commonly used, I
dunno.
