Size and resistance to heat and cold. Speakers are designed to work with
a specific enclosure volume and a home speaker, requiring a cubic foot
or so wouldn't work well in a car door with a couple of cubic inches.
Also, parked cars get very hot/cold and these extremes can cause
problems with speakers - adhesives working loose, cones and
baskets warping, etc...
Also, since a car has much higher ambient noise, the speakers are
usually played at higher sound levels. Different design than a home
system designed to reproduce subtilties.
