From: "Gary Britt"

I checked and Trillian Pro does do video chat.

My wife and I only video chat with each other. We tried using Netmeeting
for this purpose, but even with routers at both ends set to DMZ, I couldn't
get it to work both ways. I could only get it to work one way only. So we
were forced to do one of the instant messengers. We tried Yahoo but its
software seemed a bit bloated and possibly buggy. We both needed to
reinstall it more than once and the Yahoo servers were often busy and hard
to connect through. So now we've tried MSN Messenger. It seems a bit less
bloated not as buggy and haven't had as many problems with their servers
than we did with Yahoo. However, its still plenty bloated and loaded with
a bunch of cutsie kid stuff.

MSN Messenger is free, so before I pop for Trillian tell me, if you would,
why I should.

I know its operable with lots of messenger clients, but that feature isn't
important to my situation. Is Trillian less bloated, faster, and better
able to handle some older hardware than MSN 7.0??? Does Trillian do a
better job of synching up video and audio, etc. during a video chat
session??

How is Trillian able to get its client to work with everyone else's client,
but MSN, AIM, et al can't figure out how to do this? Or are the instant
messenger wars been long over and I just missed it?

Thoughts anyone?

Thanks,

Gary
