Hemlock,
Something you might want to consider is two sets of cages. One for the
livingroom, and one for the spare room for them to sleep in. Or if you
can't afford two sets (actually you should have one cage set aside as a
hospital cage) you can get a playgym/tree for your keets to hang out on
with you during the day.
Of course if you have cats or dogs, or small children who might open a
door at the wrong moment two sets of cages would be the better way to go
vs. a playgym/tree.
