They would be able to afford him, I just hope they don't. I like Will,
and he has been a leader, but his time is past, and he has been bitten
by the injury bug far too often. I agree, they should get some decent
pitching with the savings.

I would have liked to have seen Leyritz stay, too. But, I think Sele,
and Brandenberg help this team.
Saw in the paper today a guy saying the Rangers have too much starting
pitching, now. Trouble is, none of them would be better than a 3rd
strter on a good staff, unless Witt can pitch as strong in the second
half of a season as he does in the 1st, which he hasn't done well the
past few years. This kid they picked up from the Angels might help,
too. Gives us a little depth in OKC to begin with.
Did you hear they changed the nickname of the OKC franchise?
