subject: Game ads

SI> I've never seen a bad ad for a good game. Unless
 SI> it's a.... I won't say it.
  It's a... what? :-)
I think I have, though. Final Fantasy VII's ads (both for the PSX, and now
for the PC) tell you little about just WHY you should be getting this game.
Nice art, but it doesn't tell you much.
SI> I didn't say that because the game is there,
SI> people will buy it. I said
SI> If they like, then they'll buy it or at least rent it.
But how do they know they'll like it UNLESS they buy or rent it? A game ad
(TV, paper or in other medias) still shows you what the company wants you to
see, not what you need to know.
