K all! this is what happened
do you know how you pick a modem at the end of installing telix version 3.x?
well it asks you would you like to save this to your modem's non-volatile 
memory? I pressed yes and now my RG wont work cause it keeps saying, every 
time my modem picks up, LAP-M Protocol, V.43 Bits, blah blah which
interferes with my RG pickup script..
This is seriously messed up and I ws wondering if anyone knows how ta fix 
t?!
