Did it. Both ways. COM/IP set with
AT S1001=2 S1002=1 &C1 &D0
on COM5, with and without WinFOSSIL.
One demands FOSSIL, the other goes into LOCAL mode.
Tried COM5 redirected to COM3. Same thing.
Start-up command is
d:\max\max.exe -s%1 -b%2 -p%3
If I use the "-t%4" switch, it goes to TIME LIMIT and shuts down.
