Clinton's proposal to ban handguns wouldn't make it out of committee. 
Dole's proposal to extend the Brady check to all guns would certainly 
make it to a vote. Then we'd be asking Republicans to repudiate their 
party leader.
Which way do you think we'd come out ahead?
I'm not even sure we'd be able to trust Dole to make a good choice on 
Supreme Court nominations. Look at the idiots he has surrounded himself 
with.
