It was a festering collection of non-deterministic crashes. Opera 8.01 is a lot better, though it still has some problems. Opera 8.02 was just released as a "Technology Preview" for the built-in BitTorrent capability. It treats BitTorrent files as just another type of download. I am still trying to decide if that is a good thing....
