The v1.2x series couldn't install to compressed drives.  The v1.3 series CD's
could.  We had a replacement program written by Lee Jackson for the v1.2 
series
that fixed the problem.

Yes.  That was a way old copy of the CD, probably bought off a store shelf
after it had been sitting there for a really long time.
