Hi Kim,
I may have found what was causing that PMODE/W error. I had the netmail
area described manually as "Fido NetMail". Just on a hunch, I
changed that to just "NETMAIL" and Ctrl-F worked! Ctrl-E also
worked but not quite as expected. ;)
I also found the reason why the subject wasn't being filled in when used on
an Alias line. Msged's okay. The "doc" isn't. Here's the new
documentation for "Alias":
;---------------------------------------------------------------------
; Alias
[ ["subject"]]
; Aliases are used to simplify the entry of names, addresses and
; subjects, rather like macros useable in Carbon Copies and normal msg
; header entry. This way, you simply type in the alias, press enter,
; and the rest is filled in for you. Internet addressing is supported
; as well. You must use quotes if a name or subject contains spaces.
; An 'n' in the attribute field means use the current area's default.
; You MUST specify an attribute (even if only 'n') if you define a
; subject.
;---------------------------------------------------------------------
;Alias af "AreaFix" 1:116/32 pk PASSWORD
;Alias ra "Raid" 1:116/32 n PASSWORD
;Alias bs "Bob Sewell" 1:116/30.3
;Alias dw "Danny Walters" 1:116/0
;Alias kl "Kim Lykkegaard" 2:235/203.26
;Alias sb "cades{at}nashville.com" UUCP
It'll work with commas as well as spaces but an attribute HAS to be defined
for the subject to be filled in. :)
