Ruger's support of the semi-auto ban was common knowledge. He got his
Mini-14 and Mini-30 specifically exempted from the list. I'm pretty
sure it was in Am. Rifleman or G&A. Bill Ruger testified in Congress
about it.
A friend wrote Ruger, and showed me their official response on their
letterhead.
Call or write Ruger and ask for their written stance on it. They were
quite open about it.
