NO, its not supposed to be funny to a westerner..  All the other Goemon games 
were westernized for the US & European markets, but this time, it was decided 
to leave the game exactly the same as the Jap game (except for the removal of 
the "Nazi" swatstika's, which were in reality the symbol of a buhddist god, 
stolen by hitler), because of the increasing popularity of Jap style games..
The game was funny to the average Jap supposedly, but doesn't quite appeal to 
most Yanks or Brits..
But a lot of people are starting to prefer the "Japanese" quality's of 
Games..  IE, Bright colours, Super Deformed characters, Cute little things..

questions about certain parts of the game..?

Oh No..  Res Evil 2 is a crap game b'cause it requires a Mem card...  Shock
